    Berlin, Germany

Everything began in my hometown Budapest, when Hungary was still a communist country. In the basement of our block of flats one of my neighbours offered free ballet classes for the children of the neighbourhood. Proud to be there, and with great enthusiasm, I participated in the class. Very quickly I realised that this type of movement art was truly appealing for me.

Unfortunately, my ballet career was very quickly put on hold due to the lack of interest of the children from my neighbourhood. But it didn’t take long until I started my first dance course at school, with more to follow. I got to know diverse dance and movement forms, like jazz ballet, disco dance, stage dance, ballroom dance and even gymnastics.

I joined Kolibri Dance Company in 1999 where I received a structured training specialising in modern dance and ballet. There, we created many spectacles together and went on to compete at a national level. Furthermore, with our choreographies we won the Hungarian Showdance Championship on several occasions.

Having always been attracted to foreign cultures and to expand my horizons and opportunities I spent some years living in Barcelona, London and now Berlin. These experiences contributed to and shaped my performance style, which is still true of Berlin today.

My playful spirit led me to discover the world of circus and soon I found my passion as a performing circus artist. In 2008 I joined the world-renowned juggling performance group “Feeding the Fish” (www.feedingthefish.com) and became an established professional circus performer obtaining a variety of international credits such as the Paralympics Closing Ceremony (UK), MTV Music Awards (DE), the F1 and Moto GP (IT) and the Commonwealth Games (IN).

To create technically advanced, entertaining and expressive performances I am constantly reinventing myself, utilising over 20 years of stage experience.

I offer workshops and one-on- one sessions for poi spinning and hula hooping. I believe that it is never too early, but more importantly never too late, to learn the art of spinning hula hoops and poi, having witnessed many times how object manipulation skills have enriched and changed the lives of so many.

In 2017 I became a certified circus trainer, and my workshops offer clear and comprehensive instruction. My patience and keen eye for detail create a relaxed, though professional, atmosphere. Workshops are suitable for all ages and for all levels, from complete beginners to semi-professionals and can be provided on a one- to-one or group basis. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
